Who Learned What?
We were sailing along in a Bible Study at a nursing home.
I said, “And did you notice what the writer of that Psalm did? When he was tired, he did what? He trusted God and wento to sleep.”
Thrilled with myself for having driven home a point, I was shocked when the 93 year old woman sitting next to me in the circle laughed.
I turned, our eyes met, and she laughed again as she said, “Well? What else is there to do?”
And from that moment on, we had church. And a lesson.
And I’m the one that learned something that day.
What a wise woman! If I could only do that.
