My phone buzzed at just the right time today.
My friend, a very active member of a church I’ve served, called to tell me about her book.
“And I’d like to quote you at very end of my book.”
She’s had interest in a book of her children’s sermons.
“I have it all but the ending. And the only way I know to close it is how you’d invite people up front for A Special Time for Special People. Do you remember?”
Here’s what I’d say, and how she’ll end her book:
“You’re not too big,
You’re not too little,
You’re not too young, and
You’re not too old.
You’re just right.”
