That Second Cup of Coffee
Sometimes it’s the little luxuries that make the day.
Today the aroma of coffee reminded me of that.
Taking time to savor the flavor became important.
Gratitude was sweeter to stir in than sugar or any kind of substitute.
What’s one simple thing that, when noticed, becomes a luxury for you?

I’m making plans already for a second cup of coffee later today.
When I wake up, look at the clock, and it’s almost time for my alarm to go off.
THEN I realize it’s a Saturday (with nothing planned early in the day), and my alarm is NOT going to go off. Roll over, and ahhh… enjoy the extra snooze time (until the dog needs his walk, anway 😉 )

Ok, I realize this may be laughable but a shower without two little people opening the door and banging to crawl in the shower stall is a luxury. (though I must admit, when one opens the shower door and the other yells ‘raining raining!’, I love that too!)

Not laughable at all, Katie. Makes sense.
