Yesterday we thought together about an ad from the New York City Public Library. Its opener was “The past always informs the present and leads us into the future.”
You and I can’t change the past.
That’s obvious.
So why do we spend so much time and energy going over material that starts with “If only” and “Why didn’t I” and “Yeah, but” when we know that what’s in the rearview mirror of our lives is there for a reason?
Are we looking for that reason?
Not a lotta Do Overs out here in the real world.
As always, I look forward to hearing from you anytime.
