First, this is not about the closing of a United Methodist Church.

This is about the closing of a local church of another famous brand name, which we officially call another denomination.

These are two comments taken from a social media post that accompanied a local new outlet’s coverage of the closing of this local church.

Second, from the aforementioned Comment section —

When i first came to xxxxx 26 years ago from Michigan I went to this church. I sat there 30 min and nobody came to greet me. I got up and left. 

Third, also from the same section —

[The denomination] has lost millions of members as they conformed to the world and lost Holiness.
