Beatles or Stones? John or Mark?

No, the “Mark” in question isn’t the newest member of The Rolling Stones.

I have a colleague and super close friend of over never-mind-how-many decades. He and I have argued this for longer than we’ll admit —

him: MARK is the key version of the Gospel! It’s action oriented!

me: But why have all that good stuff going on without knowing the reason and  the backstory? And ya can’t get much more foundational than how JOHN opens up his version! 

— if we make it to a nursing home, we’ll still be arguing. Over that, and the raging debate we’ve had since our first chat: Beatles vs. Stones…gotta love this guy. 

And today’s his birthday…he’s on some social as John Thomas Vidakovich. If you see him, I said Happy Happy Birthday again. Love this guy!
