Super active in his local United Methodist Church, he helped pastors and missionaries and chaplains and etc. and our families by providing two free weeks in vacation homes.
Ask me about him sometime; great stories of an even greater storyteller.
More than once he’d been heard to remind us that very early in Scripture, “God rested.”
Big pause.
Then a slow, sly grin.
Let’s you and me not miss the point of that.
