God Does. Do We?
“If God forgives us,” wrote C.S. Lewis, “we must forgive ourselves. Otherwise it is almost like setting up ourselves as a higher tribunal.”
God blots out our transgressions and remembers our sins no more. — Isaiah 43:25
Somehow, that seems rather clear.
Oh, that’s right: God’s grace…and forgiveness…and new life in Christ….and what John Wesley and the early Methodists called sanctification….
