This Was Supposed to be a Reel, but….

This was supposed to be with a Reel that celebrated a youth orchestra conductor.

But I couldn’t get it to transfer.

HOWEVER! (and as Frank O. Pinion said, “In life there’s always a However”)

It started me thinking about all the outstanding conductors and directors and teachers and singers and players and yeah here we go —

Music Teacher Hero Roll Call —- Mine starts with Page Stephens when I was in 3rd grade and includes Ken Harris, Drew Schneider, Ron Mitchell, Gloria Mayer, Pete Peters, Ralph Schlesinger, Bob Howard, Jim Curnow, John Birchler, Keith Fatheree, Steve Colonel, and innumerable much-better-than-I’ll-ever-be singers and players with whom it’s been my honor to enjoy music since 3rd grade

— Grateful for each and every one.
