This morning I was reading about the rare phenomena of the emergence of periodical cicadas. Apparently these species only emerge from underground every 12-20 years.
They emerge in large numbers…make lots of noise…make baby cicadas who will do the same … but their presence poses no threat to the status quo.
In this unusual political atmosphere…may we be less like the cicadas.
