Pastoral Famine

May 19, 2024

From a major mainline denominational seminary (not Methodist by any stretch of even my imagination) —-

Right now, Christian communities across the globe face a significant challenge – a pastoral famine. This issue, perhaps unfamiliar to many, is the ever-growing shortage of passionate, well-educated faith leaders ready to guide communities in our rapidly changing world. And it weighs heavily on our hearts.

We believe now more than ever, that we need leaders firmly grounded in the faith, capable of navigating complex spiritual terrains, and bringing hope to a world engulfed in uncertainty.

If you want to help produce more biblical resources as well as further educate leaders for Christian communities, leaders who are called and sent by the Holy Spirit, will you consider giving a gift today?

—- I echo what this says and invite you to both pray and help the Christian seminary of your choice.

I still believe, as you may have heard/read from me before, that we are all on the same team.

And that God is still in business.

So to what Christian seminary is God directing your heart?
