BONUS BLOG: not just about general conference 2020

Some people believe that our process of meeting, praying, talking to one another, and deciding about our church together is inefficient, inelegant, over-complicated, too expensive, and altogether messy. They think that our conferencing is a too glitchy, a bug that needs fixing.
For me, it is a feature of who we are. In all its people-filled, relationship-dependent, Holy Spirit-led work, our commitment to conferencing around polity, doctrine, and organization embodies our belief that God is not done with us yet.
