You Singing Your Part Today?

Online friend and respected Indianapolis colleague Sarah Lund poignantly wrote this at the conclusion to her October 15, 2023 sermon —

The Bible doesn’t promise us a life without suffering.

In Revelation 21:4, “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”

But the Bible does promise that as long as we live, God will be there when we do cry to wipe away our tears.

And now I know that joy will always be there, too, along with the tears, because I am part of heaven and nature’s singing. Each one of us is part of God’s good creation, the song that heaven and nature sings.
