In Acts 19:1-7, Saint Paul “is forming friendships across whatever divisions have been assigned. Whose disciple are you? To what geography, genealogy, or government are you aligned? Like Paul, we are invited to speak to our religious heritage, and our practices testify to what God has done in Jesus.

“Prayer: Spirit-sending God, in this, our season of division, help us form friendships as a testimony to what you are doing to form communities of faithfulness. Amen.”
