All. Saints.
Wally Latham and I were in college together in Wilmore, Kentucky, and then seminary together in Atlanta. He speaks wisdom here —-
“The world was not worthy of them.”
Those words were used to describe the saints and martyrs the writer of Hebrews references in the 11th Chapter, the “Hall of Faith.”
As I reflect over the years of my life I recall a great number of folks those words would properly describe.
While all persons are of sacred worth, some live into the sanctity of life and in their faithful pursuit of holiness live exemplary lives. And many of them suffered for their faith. And I know I was not/am not worthy of them. But they blessed me anyway.
