RBS Said… part 2
Ruth Morgan Baldwin Neber Scheets is on her grave marker. She initialed things RBS. I called her Mom.
When she was in her 90s, we moved her to be in the same town as we were.
Frequently when I had a wedding I ask if she had any advice for the newlyweds…something I could include in my homily.
She would pause.
Look away, somewhere off into a distance only she could see.
Smiling, she’d turn back and tell me, “Enjoy every moment.”
She embodied that advice in one form or another from July 29, 1912 to November 4th, 2017.
She did indeed “Enjoy every moment.”
