A Prayer Request as Our Annual Conference Starts Tomorrow
Jason Moore, colleague and online friend in Ohio, has graciously given me his expressed permission to share this with you. He says quite well what many of us feel as we move forward (highlights mine)—
I hope as the 2023 Annual Conference season comes and goes and disaffiliations are completed, a peace will wash over Methodism in general.
It seems from where I sit, that we took our eyes off the ball of “making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world”, and focused more on who we were flighting, what we were building and so on.
Let’s get back to work and make the main thing the main thing.
