Prayer for the Spirit of Truth
From the cowardice that dares not face new truth,
From the laziness that is contented with half-truths,
From the arrogance that thinks it knows all truth,
Good Lord, deliver me. Amen.
This prayer from Kenya immediately calls to mind at least three people to whom I would love to send this and ask them to pray it.
No, make that at least four people.
And I’m at the front of that line.
