[QUICK REVIEW: Charles Haddon Spurgeon is a hero of mine from another tradition and era.
Among the gems he left us is this —
“When asked, ‘What is more important: praying or reading the Bible?’, I ask, ‘What is more important: breathing in or breathing out?'”

That’s not unlike how John Wesley might answer when asked if personal holiness or mission work was more important.
