The Rivers of Life Clergy Band has two gigs this weekend, and we’re playing this song, and it keeps singing itself inside me, and this is my current favorite part, and this phrase especially today: Everybody’s got a purpose.

Or as God says in Exodus 9:16, “I have raised you up for this very purpose, that I might show you my power and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.”

Everybody’s got a purpose.
