Show Me Yours
Yesterday’s hallway dialogue, as told here by my friend Wally, reminded me of one of my favorite things from John Maxwell.
It’s from his workbook about spending One Hour a Week with God in a seriously concentrated manner. He mentions that people criticize that practice for any number of reasons.
Maxwell thanks them for their interest, and then asks what their devotional practice is instead of his one hour a week approach.
Usually they stare at him, say nothing, then turn and walk away.
I’m guessing they leave as empty-handed as when they approached him.
Let’s learn from that.
