Why Do You Still Care?
I’ve been repeatedly asked why I still care about what happens to The United Methodist Church.
My answer is a long one, part of which I was pleasantly surprised to see summarized yesterday by a colleague and friend in real life, Ed Hoke.
It’s with his expressed gracious permission that I can share this with you here today —
My heart aches for my friends and colleagues for whom this [GC19 decision] directly effects. I’m now retired. I’m outside of this fight now. All I can do is pray and be willing to help pick up the pieces. I pray for all of us.
