Comes a Time
A friend and I were talking about a situation that had left my friend both confused, frustrated, and largely unable to help.
After sharing a similar experience, I mentioned what I’d learned when I slipped around in some of that stuff:
Refer to The Serenity Prayer,
and apply as needed.
But don’t rinse,
just repeat as needed.
File that under Jesus saying, “If the people will not listen to your words, go outside and shake their dust off of your feet.” (Matthew 10:14)
Comes a time to just move on.
