A One Note Song
Rejoice in the Lord always.
Our old friend St. Paul wrote that in Philippians 4:4.
But I don’t always feel like rejoicing, do you?
As if he anticipated our response, the very next thing he said is this: Again I say Rejoice.
Seems to be a one note song he’s singing here: Rejoice.
He and all the rest are waiting for us to join in right now.
Ready? Maybe. Maybe not.
Set? Maybe. Maybe not.
Whether we are ready or not, our assignment is the same this week: Rejoice.
