Wanna Be?
“I am being healed from the sin of selfishness in order to live in the unselfishness of God.
“I am being saved from a life motivated by self-serving so I can experience the self-giving life of Jesus Christ.
“I am being stretched to participate in God’s salvation that reaches to the whole creation.”
Those three lines are from Easter Earthquake by Jim Harnish. Our church’s Tuesday Morning Lenten Bible Study Group is loving using it.
Those three lines sure sound to me like an Affirmation of Faith and/or a Call to Action.
Talk about “living into our learnings” — wow! — “…healed…saved…and stretched.”
