And Then Jeremiah’s Grandma Said….

Jeremiah Cox is a superb videographer, worship leader, etc.,…and a daddy. He graciously gave me permission to share this with you, about his grandmother — 

We lost my greatest hero in the faith today. Gangee not only practically raised me and my siblings for a time while my little brother fought cancer, but her story of faith through the hardest things life could throw at someone was a source of *daily* strength for me and my family. There are countless stories of how much Gangee meant to us, but I’ll share just this one today…

As Kortny and I were contemplating if we wanted to follow God’s call to adopt, we were in my parents’ kitchen talking to them about it, and if it was something we should be doing. Gangee was in the corner sitting, and to be honest with her loss of hearing, I wasn’t even sure if she could hear what we were talking about. A few minutes into our talk, Gangee quietly left the room. She came back with a check (she had hardly any money left to her name). She laid it in front of us and said, “Now you go get me my grandbaby.”
