This is the day
that the Lord has made;
we will rejoice
and be glad in it!

Even with all the bad stuff that’s going on?
Really.
And I’m supposed to just feel happy about all this?
No. The idea is that whatever your feelings might be at the moment, you can still choose to rejoice.
Rejoice even right in the midst of all the bad stuff that’s going on?
Really. Really rejoice. Rejoice even now.
