Someday
Raydean Davis was a pastoral colleague and real-life friend.
He had three words of advice for people as they entered The Retirement Chapter of life:
Someday
is
today.
Today my own Retirement Chapter opens with its blank page.
An empty screen.
With a flashing cursor.
And I can picture Raydean standing here in his bicycle gear, grinning and doing that quick nod of his as he says,
Someday
is
today.
I hope to see you back here tomorrow.
