Mistakes and Choices
“Sometimes you make a mistake,” says Wolfgang, a character on a tv series by The Wachowskis. “You’ve got two choices: you live with it, or you fix it.”
That latter option sounds like Steps 8 & 9 of The Twelve Steps —
Made a list of all persons we had harmed,
and became willing to make amends to them all.
Made direct amends to such people wherever possible,
except when to do so would injure them or others.
