Grandmas and Grandsons, part 4
What all did your Grandma give you?
And what do your friends know about that?
Here’s what one man wrote to a friend:
…your faith — and what a rich faith it is,
handed down from your grandmother Lois
to your mother Eunice,
and now to you!
— 2nd Timothy 1:5
Sounds like families are significant in faith development… especially Grandmas.
Anybody else have one of those?
I’d love to hear about her, and I’ll see you back here tomorrow.
My grandmother Traband. I didn’t really know she went to a Methodist church until I was an adult. When my divorce happened and all the people at the church I grew up in were treating me like Bill & Evelyn’s little girl and not a woman needing guidance, I turned to grandmother, her faith and her church. It is how I wound up at Wood River First, where you became the third pastor I had there. You knew my grandmother I believe. I really believe without her, I couldn’t hold on in the valleys.
