Third, Be the Light

Third, choose to light candles instead of shout at the darkness.

Our witness as a church is the work we do for the people nobody else wants or sees. Now is time for us to double up our efforts of compassion in the community.

Anyone can shout; instead, let’s light candles and obey Jesus’ command in Matthew 5:14-16, “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”

Our sisters and brothers in Christ, let’s continue to do the work that Jesus called us to.

Let’s partner with God in transforming people from unbelievers to fully devoted disciples of Jesus to the glory of God.

The only One who can fix our nation is God.
