Bishop Woodie White of The United Methodist Church loves to remind us that no matter what form it took, God woke you up this morning. Maybe it was an alarm clock, maybe you woke up some other way.
However it happened, you and I were given the gift of today.
That’s a real good place to start with what an old hymn says to do: Count your many blessings, see what God has done.
And remember what our theme song for this week says: Praise God from whom all blessings flow.
Catch that: all blessings.
You and I really are richly blessed! But I forget that sometimes. Anybody else need a reminder?

For me it is a blessing when I wake up every morning to a new day. Doubly blessed today….Our daughter is coming to visit for a week. That is always a blessing~

Having a pint-sized cat climb up on my upper right arm (left-side sleeper), lay down, and become a purring machine is my first Blessing of over a week now! Not only that, after thanks for her, it is a Blessing request for my friend, Carol, who saw my need and filled it!
