Bonus Blog: “What does it say about our processes?” — a prayer request

A friend involved in the current General Conference of The United Methodist Church, meeting in Portland through May 20, shared this disturbing report and question yesterday —

“In the Church and Society B legislative committee on Friday, the chair collapsed and required EMT service; on Saturday the vice-chair passed out, also requiring emergency medical attention.

“What does it say about our processes when the stress level is so high that our leaders drop like flies?”

— I’m asking you at the start of this new work week to please keep everyone involved in “GC16” in Portland in your prayers.

For lotsa reasons.
