One more day with what’s become this week’s series on the ancient Aramaic spoken by Christ Jesus, in which Salvation = to be alive —
Why did God save us?
Or, more literally, how’s it happen that we’re alive in the everyday Aramaic sense?
St. Paul answers that for us: because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. (Ephesians 2:4,5).
There really is so much to celebrate this side of Easter!
