Several have asked what I read for inspiration and formation. Hearing those as serious questions, happy to let you in on some of what’s been shaping me recently.
Jane Marie Thibault writes on page 30 of the devotional book Disciplines 2016 —
Our mandate is to spend our lives as coworkers with God for the redemption of the world.
In gospel terms, we are called to work each day for God’s reign to come, God’s will to be done on earth as it is in heaven.
