Life Has Two Rules

January 12, 2016

Life Has Two Rules:

  1. Don’t quit.
  2. Always remember Rule #1.

Those come from Dana Caldwell, who gave me permission to share them with you here. She’s a United Methodist Christian, a fitness entrepreneur*, and an online friend.

I know I’m not the only one among us who has considered the alternative to her two rules of life.

I know I’m not the only one among us who has felt the way I did when in school and told my uncle that I was afraid “I might flunk out of life.”

I know I’m not the only one among us who regularly needs to be reminded that Christ Jesus said his life purpose was to give us real and eternal life, more and better life than [we] ever dreamed of.  (John 10:10b)

Somebody you know needs to be reminded of these things today. Do that for them. In the process you might literally save someone’s life today.

And that someone just might be you.

Quick Review:

Life Has Two Rules:

  1. Don’t quit.
  2. Always remember Rule #1.

Christ Jesus said his life purpose was to give us real and eternal life, more and better life than [we] ever dreamed of.  (John 10:10b)
