Not Ready to Let Go of You
“The peace you just let go of is not ready to let go of you,” writes Eric Elenes in Gifts of The Dark Wood.
“The peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus,” wrote St. Paul in Philippians 4:7 (NIV).
Same Bible verse, slightly different: “It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.” (The Message version)
As we begin what it is for many a new work week, you may feel some sense of peace slipping away. Worry might be creeping in.
Remember that “The peace you just let go of is not ready to let go of you.”
And join me in being thankful for this today.
