Weekend Bonus Blog — “God Isn’t Fixing This” with special guest Will Clegg

I’m afraid there is some truth to this headline. Let me explain. The reason God is not perceived as “fixing this” is in large part because we Christians have and are failing to become involved in God’s redemptive work in the world. Our hands and clothes are clean because we have not rubbed shoulders with the least, last and lost. GWe are cautious, not risk takers. We consume and don’t sacrifice. We have become more concerned about the order of worship than we are God’s order for this world. Some of us think God and country go hand in hand. We are unwilling to die for what we believe. We don’t pray for our enemies or love them as Jesus commands. We love the status quo and hate the change that Jesus call us to. We are afraid! No wonder some think that “God isn’t fixing this”. Lord have mercy!
