The God-Colors
Cheryl Richardson wrote this earlier this week, in light of our global tragedies —
The world doesn’t need more darkness. We’ve all become highly skilled at keeping fear alive. It’s time to become masterful at fueling the light. So today I start with the sunrise. What will you start with?
Ms. Richardson points us in the right direction. Even more, as followers of Christ, the Light of the world…Jesus himself says, “You’re here to be light, bringing out the God-colors in the world.” (Matthew 5:14, The Message version)
What will you do today to “be light, bringing out the God-colors in the world” right where you are?

oh k. Not quite the same as the beacon I envisioned (“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.” Matthew 5:14 NKJV) when I wrote comparing the light on a hill to a lighthouse once. I like the “God-colors” though.
