Help (and this is not a Beatles reference)
Mark Amenda is a colleague, friend, and in many ways a non-birth-brother.
He shared this succinct summary of so many things:
With the Lord’s help
the only person I can change is me
and I can only do it one day at a time.
He starts that on solid ground: With the Lord’s help.
How many times have you and I forgotten that? Speaking only for myself, I can’t count that high.
Today, join me in praying that what we do is With the Lord’s help.
Right away now, that’s already changed something I was going to do.
