He’s Loose
Priceless classic:
The Trial of Jesus is an old play by John Masefield. Pilate’s wife had a dream the night before about Jesus, and she asks the Roman Centurian who’d been in charge of his crucifixion about that death.
She listens to the details.
Then she asks, “Do you think he’s dead?”
“No, Lady, I don’t. He’s been let loose in the world.”
And by the grace of God, we get to be his Easter People today!
You just reminded me of a favorite solo from “Jesus Christ Superstar”, though Andrew Lloyd Webber made it “Pilate’s Dream”, I remember it being his wife’s warning.

Yes, and I had forgotten that, too – fits exactly.
