Not an April Fools Day Joke
It’s Wednesday of Holy Week.
Tomorrow things kick into high gear for Christ’s followers. These next three days have traditionally been called The Holy Triduum: Holy/Maundy Thursday, Holy/Good Friday, and Holy Saturday.
Too many of us run from the fun and excitement of Palm Sunday to the joy of Easter. We forget what Christ Jesus did in between: He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. (Philippians 2:7)
Wednesday of Holy Week is at the very least about clearing our throats and getting ready.
No joke.
