Is What We’re Doing Doing This? A Cardinal’s Questions, part 2 of 4.
Picking up where we left off yesterday —
The Archbishop of New York, Cardinal Edward Egan, left a legacy of three questions he “constantly asked” according to his successor.
The first is, “Is it good for the people?”
The second is, “Will it help lead them to Jesus?”
Is what we’re doing in our churches accomplishing that?
That should be our question as we plan the programs of the church. We are starting to do that by asking our committees to consider our “Know, Grow, & Show” when planning.
