That Dent in My Forehead
I am the light of the world.

There’s a permanent dent on the left side of my forehead.
I’d like to tell you it’s a souvenir of some motorcycle moment, but that’s not what happened.
Short version of a long story: I hadn’t turned on the light because I knew my way around in the darkness.
Or so I thought.
How many non-physical bumps and bruises and basic badness have you and I borne because of the same reason?
Jesus said that He’s the light of the world, but too often we think we can get by without him, too.
