Your Sheepdogs are On Duty

Marc Beach, friend and law enforcement officer who’s active in a church it was my joy to serve, wrote this recently and gave me permission to share it with you —

At the gym this morning the person on the treadmill next to me is watching the news and the reporter was commenting on how terrible the roads were where they were at (looked like Boston or New York)…the person next me says to the TV, “So why are you out there? I’d rather lose my job than lose my life.”

I reflected on my brothers, and sisters, in Law Enforcement who show up to work no matter how dangerous the roads are, or how terrible the weather is, or how dangerous the situation may be…thankful that they’d rather lose their lives than not do their job.

Stay safe out there sheepdogs, the wolves are watching and the sheep need protecting.
