Response to our Ferguson situation?

Only one I can recommend —

Lord, make me an instrument of thy peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
Where there is sadness, joy.

O divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
To be consoled as to console,
To be understood as to understand,
To be loved as to love;
For it is in giving that we receive;
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
It is in dying to self that we are born to eternal life.

    They interviewed a local singer/songwriter a few minutes ago on Great Day St. Louis. His response to Virginia’s questions about the outcome and the reactions, he began singing, “When peace, like a river, attendeth my way, When sorrows like sea billows roll; Whatever my lot, Thou hast taught me to say, It is well, it is well with my soul. It is well with my soul, It is well, it is well with my soul.” He then said, “it’s the only thing I can think of to say.” I watched in horror last night. I realize there is anger, however, I don’t understand, what my grandma use to say, “tinkling where you live.” I just know, what you have written here is all that I, for me, can do. I do love it is well with my sole as well.
