Snow and Laundry
I’m sure plenty of people love snow and ice and winter itself in general. People like me balance out people like that.
However —
Seeing the snow had me flashing to a Psalm about God making us “whiter than snow” as it’s traditionally stated. More recent translations render that phrase “purer than snow.”
Digging a little deeper, here’s how The Message version presents Psalm 51:7 —
“Soak me in your laundry
and I’ll come out clean,
scrub me and I’ll have
a snow-white life.”
Anybody else needing that today?
