One God and Father of Us All
All the gifts that God has given
by his grace to everyone
were meant to give us
each a place to serve.
And if we will come together
to see God’s will be done,
we will share in blessings
more than we deserve.
God’s gifts are good.
God’s gifts are given to everyone.
But God’s gifts are not just for grins and giggles.
They are “meant to give us each a place to serve.”
Oops.
God, forgive us for all the times we’ve cheapened and abused your good gifts to us. Use us and our gifts today in service to you and the people around us. Amen.
