I Used To
Quincy Jones was talking with a young woman at the headquarters of New York City’s Musicians Local Union 802.
“Do you sing?” he asked her.
“I used to,” she said.
“Why’d you stop?”
Good question.
Imagine Christ asking us about the daily practice of our faith.
Let’s not have to answer that we “used to” let our lives sing of God’s goodness and grace.
Because the follow up question is painful.
“Why’d you stop?”
