Hold up there.
Stay put.
Wait.
In our culture we don’t like doing those kind of things, and some of us have an exceptionally difficult time with that stuff.
But it’s what Jesus says to do in Luke 24:49. It’s part of a particularly great promise.
It’s about waiting for God to give us a gift. It’s about — well, it’s about time we caught our breath and followed directions.
Where and when today will you wait, like Christ directs us?
